Call Letter for Reunion

at L'amicale Club, Chennai

It was a successful meeting attended by over 30 Batchmates. It was heartening to see participants from Coimbatore, Neyveli and even Hyderabad besides Chennai CITizens. Following is the gist of the proceedings :
  • The meeting was chaired by Dasnavis.
  • Instead of the Rs 2000 per family, it was unanimously decided to hike the participation fee to Rs 3000 per family.The money is to be sent by DD/Cheque to Udayakumar before 30th Sept,2002. A request letter will  be sent soon.
  • Many of our batchmates volunteered to bear the various food expenses. Dasnavis, Ramaraj, Raghavan, Thyagarajan, Balasubramaniam,Narayanan and Janardhan Venugopal were thanked for their gesture.
  • Choice of the Picnic spot has been left to Shyam Sunder and Jayaprakash. An exclusive club or farm was preferred over popular public places.
  • Sampath Kumar , Chairman of the Souvenir Committee requested each and every one to get atleast 3 advertisements. Rates will be circulated.
  • Gifts and Momentoes are to be given for the spouses and children.
  • Next meeting at CIT, Coimbatore on Sunday, 13th Oct, 2002, (subsequently changed to 6th Oct).

As usual it was great going and all (well, almost ) the participants were in 'high spirits' when reports last came in !
