Preliminary Meeting in BANGALORE on 24th Nov, 2002 at 10 AM

The meeting was attended by 13 Batchmates - 6 from Bangalore, 1 each from Mangalore and Davangere, 3 from Coimbatore and 2 from Chennai. The meeting went off very well, beginning with the 'Identify the Batchmate' Challenge .Besides the fun of trying to identify the batchmates present, and miserably failing frequently, this meeting like the ones held earlier in Chennai, Neyveli and Coimbatore brought back nostalgic memories of our care-free college days. Amidst all these, there was a tinge of sadness when we stood up for a minutes silence in memory of six of our batchmates, who attained their heavenly abode quite early in life. There was also concern regarding the not so comfortable life of some of our batchmates. Venkatachalam, Periaswamy and Babu spontaneously offered to sponsor the meet expenses upto Rs 10,000 each.
A nice lunch was hosted by Peri at Hotel Ashok.
